This may be one of the easiest three-couple setups in Vail. Two king bedrooms. A queen. Four bathrooms. Steam showers. And then The Ritz-Carlton handles the rest. Vail Lionshead Circle is a three-bedroom designer residence with modern art, floor-to-ceiling glass and a polished kitchen, but the real luxury is everything attached to the address: pool, hot tubs, sauna, spa, gym, shuttle and ski valet. For a month, that service layer matters. You aren't trying to recreate a resort inside a private house. The resort is already downstairs. And because you're in Lionshead, Vail Mountain, restaurants, shops and the creekside connection toward Vail Village are all part of daily life. This is one of those cases where I'd happily trade estate scale for ease.

What we love

The Ritz ecosystem. A private house can give you a hot tub. It usually can't give you a pool, sauna, serious gym, spa, ski valet and resort service without somebody in the group managing all of it. I also really like the adult bedroom configuration and steam-shower bathrooms. And the workspace matters for a month-long stay.

Keep in mind

This residence sits on the first floor, so don't choose it expecting the long-range view drama of a penthouse. You're also living within a hotel-residence environment, which means valet and building rules are part of the experience.

Work Mode

Very good. There's a useful workspace, and the residence makes it easy to maintain a normal routine during an extended stay.

The brag

Joe B. lens:
I like the contemporary art and glass, but my brag is having the Ritz downstairs. There's a point where service becomes part of the architecture of the stay.

Steam showers and a real gym. I could actually maintain my routine here instead of pretending the vacation rental treadmill counts.

This is private-home living with a luxury hotel quietly doing the hard work downstairs.

Getting around

Lionshead is highly car-light. The Eagle Bahn Gondola provides access to Vail Mountain, Lionshead restaurants and shops are nearby, and Vail Village is connected by a roughly 10-to-15-minute creekside walk or free local transportation. Summer brings Gore Creek, hiking, biking, village events and easy access toward Ford Park.
