Vail Golf Terrace is a six-bedroom contemporary mountain house near Vail Golf Club that is particularly well set up for several families traveling together. The new marble kitchen gives the main level a polished feel, but this house gets more interesting when you look at how people actually use it. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. There's a real theater, a workspace and enough twin beds in the secondary rooms to make the kid side of a multi-family trip very easy. Then, after skiing, you've got the hot tub. This isn't a Vail Village walk-out-your-door property. It's a quieter golf-course house where the trade is simple: less village energy, more private-home functionality. For the right group, I'd make that trade.
