Vail Forest Road Ascension Chalet is a four-bedroom mountain home in one of Vail's most desirable residential settings, close to Vail Village while still feeling tucked into the mountainside above town. There's enough room to spread out without the house feeling oversized, and the deck overlooking the Vail Valley gives you a pretty great reminder of exactly where you are. But there's one feature here that's anything but ordinary: a private funicular connects the chalet to the larger Ascension Estate residence on the property. The chalet stands entirely on its own as a Vail home, but for families or groups needing significantly more space, the two residences create the possibility of a much larger estate experience.
