This feels like a cabin. Not a condo decorated to look like one. Telluride Sunny Ridge Place Cabin rises through four levels of logs, warm wood and mountain character, with an iron fireplace anchoring the main living space. It's only three bedrooms, which I actually like here. The vertical layout and traditional materials give the house personality without requiring an enormous footprint. But location may be the bigger luxury. You're in the See Forever area with Mountain Village and the gondola close enough that the destination becomes part of everyday life. That matters over a month. Dinner doesn't require a production. Someone can head toward the village without organizing the whole family. Add a steam shower after skiing and this becomes a very easy little Telluride cabin to like.
