This is one I'd want to see at sunset. Telluride Pandora Lane is a striking modern house where floor-to-ceiling glass turns the mountains into part of the architecture. That's the Aha Moment. The main living, dining and kitchen spaces are open to one another, but the glass keeps the room from becoming the story. Your eye keeps moving outside. There's a pool table for nights at home, plus a hot tub and outdoor fire features that make sense against the mountain setting. What I particularly like is that you don't have to choose between architectural privacy and access to Telluride. You're removed enough to feel like you're in a mountain retreat, yet town is roughly a minute away by car. For me, that's a very good compromise.
