The kitchen and family room are unquestionably the heart of the house. High ceilings, big windows and beautiful views make this the space where everyone will naturally gravitate. The kitchen itself is fantastic, with an enormous stone island, custom cabinetry and a beautiful AGA range. It's sophisticated without feeling precious and designed for actually cooking, gathering and spending time together. We also love the quieter spaces. The study and media room, with its huge 100-inch television, is an incredibly inviting place to disappear for a movie. The primary bedroom is another favorite, with beautiful wallpaper and a sweet, intimate quality that makes it feel especially thoughtful. And then there's the long covered porch running along the bedroom side of the house. Each of the three bedroom suites has French doors opening directly onto it, creating one of our favorite little rituals at Meadowlark: open your bedroom doors in the morning, step onto the porch with your coffee and look out toward the vineyards and Sonoma hills. That's pretty hard to beat.
