Make it zero-edge. Add a gym, media room, sports court, rooftop deck, stone bar and wine display while we’re at it. Somehow all of this fits into a cul-de-sac estate south of Ventura Boulevard without feeling like you’ve driven to a destination resort. That’s the fun of Levitt Lane. The house isn’t built around one defining architectural gesture. It’s built around the idea that nobody should ever be bored. A month here could develop competing factions: gym people, pool people, movie people, rooftop people and whoever has decided the stone bar is now headquarters. We suspect everyone will survive.
