This is another Flagstaff Lodge residence, so the basic proposition is similar: you get a polished private home with the amenities and ski convenience of a high-end lodge wrapped around it. The residence has three bedrooms, high ceilings, an open kitchen and living area, mountain views and true slopeside access. The primary suite adds a fireplace, jetted tub and steam shower, which is exactly the sort of mountain-house luxury that sounds indulgent before the trip and completely necessary by day three. Downstairs, the lodge gives you the hot tub, game room, gym and ski storage. What I like is how uncomplicated the experience becomes. You aren't paying for rooms you don't need or managing a giant house. For a family that wants Deer Valley to be the center of the trip, the entire setup is remarkably efficient.
