Four bedrooms. Four adult couples. Nobody loses. Mountain Village Vischer Drive may have one of my favorite adult sleeping arrangements in this part of the portfolio: two king suites and two queen ensuite bedrooms. No bunks. No twins. No couple quietly realizing they've been assigned the kids' room. Then the two king suites add steam showers and jetted tubs. Now I'm really interested. The house itself is polished mountain architecture with rich wood, granite and strong San Sophia views. There's a sunken fireplace living room, a gourmet kitchen with a six-burner range and two ovens, and double decks looking toward the slopes. And then there's the skiing. You can access Telluride Ski Resort directly via the Meadows run. For four couples coming primarily to ski, this one is incredibly easy to recommend.

What we love

The bedroom equality is exceptional. Two kings with spa-style baths, plus two queens with their own bathrooms, means all four couples get a legitimate bedroom. The ski access is the other big story. When you can get onto the mountain from the house, people can start and finish their ski days on their own schedules. I also like the sunken living room. It gives the fireplace area some intimacy rather than making everything one giant open box.

Keep in mind

The garage is tight for large SUVs, which matters in a Colorado ski destination where oversized vehicles are common. Direct ski access also depends on snow conditions and Telluride Ski Resort operations.

Work Mode

Good. There's an office nook, so someone can work without turning the kitchen island into a desk.

Getting around

For skiing, the location is excellent: you have direct access to Telluride Ski Resort via the Meadows run. For restaurants, shops and broader exploring, Mountain Village transportation or a vehicle remains useful. Mountain Village Core and the free gondola are your main nearby hubs. Summer brings hiking, mountain biking and golf, with the gondola connecting Mountain Village to Telluride's restaurants, shops and festivals.
