This is mountain architecture with some muscle. Mountain Village Stevens Drive is a five-bedroom estate built around natural materials, substantial fireplaces and big mountain views. The great room has the scale to handle a real group, but what I like is that the house doesn't put all of its energy into one giant room. There are multiple places to gather, which matters when twelve people are living together for a month. Outside, you get generous mountain space and a private hot tub. The design feels appropriately grand for the setting without pretending you're in some European castle transplanted to Colorado. Stone, timber, fire and mountains. It's a familiar formula, but there's a reason it works.
