The architecture basically has one job here: Don't screw up the view. Mountain Village Rocky Road Hideway has roughly 180 degrees of Dallas Peak and San Juan mountain panorama, and the modern alpine design uses enormous windows to put that view at the center of the house. That's exactly what I want. Inside, there's a gourmet kitchen and a second entertainment room, but the main living space feels almost secondary to what's happening outside the glass. The sleeping plan is particularly good for adults: three king ensuite bedrooms plus a bunk room. Then outside you have patios and a private hot tub facing the mountains. This is a house I'd choose for three couples traveling with kids because everyone gets a legitimate adult bedroom, the kids get their own zone, and nobody needs me to explain why Telluride is beautiful.
