The best amenity here isn't inside the condo. It's downstairs. Mountain Village Lost Creek Lane is a compact three-bedroom residence for six in the heart of Mountain Village Core, where restaurants, shops, the gondola and mountain activity are all part of the immediate neighborhood. And that's why I'd choose it. There are much bigger and more dramatic houses in this portfolio. But if I'm traveling with a smaller group and everyone plans to ski, hike, bike, eat out and actually use Mountain Village, I don't necessarily need a private bowling alley. I need a comfortable place to come home to and a location that makes the destination easy. This does exactly that. The condo is straightforward. Mountain Village is the amenity.

What we love

I love being able to walk out and immediately be in the village. That changes the rhythm of a trip. Someone wants coffee? Go. Kids want to wander toward the plaza? Fine. One person wants to ski earlier than everyone else? Nobody needs to coordinate a car. For a month-long stay, that independence becomes a real luxury.

Keep in mind

This is a compact condo in a shared building, not a private mountain estate. If you want enormous outdoor spaces, private hot tubs, theaters and game rooms, there are better choices. If you want location, keep reading.

Work Mode

Fine for occasional work, but there's no dedicated office setup we'd make part of the booking decision.

Getting around

This is one of the strongest car-light options in the portfolio. Mountain Village restaurants, shops and plazas are right outside, and the free gondola connects you with Telluride town. Ski access is close, although we wouldn't label the condo direct ski-in/ski-out without relying on the exact route and current conditions. In summer, hiking and mountain biking are especially convenient from Mountain Village, with golf, festivals and scenic gondola rides adding to the mix.
