It starts with the entrance. You walk across water into a two-story living room. That's pretty hard to beat. Then you get the SCIC marble kitchen, enormous walls of glass, fireplace and city-to-ocean views. The entire upper floor is essentially given over to the primary suite, including a sleek black closet, big bathroom and private balcony. That's serious architectural drama. But what keeps us interested is how much fun has been worked into all that precision. There’s a game room with billiards, a proper movie theater, and a poolside wine cellar—which might be one of our favorite locations for a wine cellar yet. Outside, a large, flat entertaining area surrounds the infinity pool and spa, with an outdoor living room, kitchen and barbecue. There’s even an outdoor gym, so you can get a workout in without giving up the view. The architecture may be disciplined. Life here doesn't have to be.
