Skyview Estate understands that sometimes the most valuable room in a group house is the one slightly removed from everybody else. Set above Hollywood with sweeping city views, the property has the expected hillside ingredients—pool, outdoor living and a polished main residence—but the guest-house component changes how we’d use it for a month. Grandparents can have privacy. A couple can maintain a different schedule. Someone working intensely can retreat without asking the entire house to quiet down. Then everybody comes back together around the pool and views. Skyview isn’t trying to be the biggest trophy house in the hills. It feels more like a Hollywood hideaway that happens to have an escape valve built into the floor plan.
