We love the way Belfast Drive uses a difficult hillside rather than fighting it. The home stacks vertically, but the payoff arrives quickly: the second level opens to the pool, spa, expansive terrace, and panoramic views across the city and canyon. That pool placement is a big win for us. We've seen hillside homes where getting to the water feels like an expedition. Here, the pool becomes part of the primary living experience, with enough surrounding deck for lounging, dining, and actually spending an afternoon outside. Inside, the modern design has more warmth than many contemporary LA homes. Blonde oak floors soften the clean lines, Italian cabinetry elevates the kitchen, and walls of Fleetwood glass disappear to connect the interiors directly to the deck. We also like the restraint. Three bedrooms, a few genuinely good gathering spaces, and one exceptional outdoor area. Even the in-law suite gives a visiting parent or friend some extra independence. Belfast doesn't need a game room, sports court, or six different lounges to make its case. The pool deck and view do most of the work.
