This house is built to entertain. The backyard has a large pool and spa, outdoor kitchen and a great sitting area with a fireplace, giving everyone plenty of places to gather. Dinner can happen outside, the pool can stay busy, and there is still room for someone to find a quiet chair away from the group. What surprised us, though, is how good Amestoy is when you're not entertaining. We used the gym every day, and it's a real gym, not a treadmill tucked into a spare bedroom. Then there's the dedicated massage room. If massages are part of your routine, having your masseuse simply come to the house and set up in a room designed for exactly that feels wonderfully indulgent. Life in LA could be worse. The lower level keeps going with a theater, bar, wine room and lounge, so the evening can easily migrate downstairs. Upstairs, the primary has a fireplace, sitting area and balcony, while both queen guest rooms get balconies of their own. Add a serious kitchen, dedicated office and multiple workspaces, and these aren't amenities designed to fill out a listing. They make the house noticeably better to live in.
