Then there's the backyard. We love getting this much outdoor space so close to the heart of Los Angeles. The pool sits within a manicured landscape, with room to lounge, barbecue, and spread out rather than feeling squeezed onto a narrow hillside terrace. But the surprise is downstairs. The basement has a bar and theater, giving the house an entirely different personality after dark. We like that separation. The main floor can handle family life, bedrooms sit above, and the fun can continue downstairs without taking over the whole house. Coldwater Canyon doesn't need a massive skyline view to make its case. It gives you something arguably more useful for thirty days: location, outdoor space, and a house with enough range to keep life interesting.
