I like a mountain house with a serious kitchen. Especially when we're talking about a month rather than a long weekend. Avon Hummingbird Drive Land is a four-bedroom, five-bath residence for twelve in Bachelor Gulch, with polished contemporary mountain interiors and one of the better kitchens in this part of the collection. That's what separates it for me. A great kitchen becomes much more important when breakfast isn't something you order from room service every morning and dinner isn't automatically a restaurant reservation. There's room here to actually cook, gather and settle into the rhythm of living in the mountains. Outside, Bachelor Gulch gives you a quieter alpine setting with trail access and mountain views, while Beaver Creek Resort remains the reason most winter guests will be here. It's not a giant standalone chalet. It doesn't need to be. This is a well-designed mountain residence in a really good place.
