The transformation from street to interior is remarkable. Floor-to-ceiling glass takes over almost immediately, turning what feels like a closed, defensive house from the road into something remarkably open once you're inside. The architecture keeps pulling you toward the view. Living spaces spill onto large terraces, the imported Italian kitchen feels appropriately polished, and multiple levels give you different perspectives across the canyon and city. But the elevated pool deck is where we'd end up. There is something wonderfully improbable about swimming this high in the Hollywood Hills with Los Angeles spread around you. Add the spa, water features, and multiple lounge areas and it becomes much more than somewhere for a quick dip. We especially like the sound of the water, which helps soften the city around you. And then there's the Rolls-Royce licensed private theater. We're still not entirely sure a movie theater needs Rolls-Royce credentials, but we're delighted this one has them. Viewmont is a bold house. A slightly outrageous amenity feels right at home.
