This is the one where I'd make the skiing the headline, because here it actually deserves to be. The ski day starts at the house. You're not loading skis into a car, finding parking, unloading everyone and then figuring out how to get to the lift. The house has direct ski access, and when you're staying for a month, removing that friction over and over again is a legitimate luxury. Then there's the bedroom configuration: six king bedrooms, plus a bunk room. That's exceptional. A large group of adults can travel together without half of them feeling like they drew the short straw. The rest of the house supports that scale with generous common areas, a game-room component, hot tub, ski storage and a golf-course setting. This isn't simply a large Park City house near skiing. It's a house where the ski logistics and sleeping logistics have both been solved unusually well.

What we love

The direct ski access is obviously first. Convenience like this compounds over a long stay. Some people can head out early, others can start later, and nobody has to organize the entire household around one departure time. But the six kings may be equally impressive to me. It's one of the most equitable large-group bedroom arrangements we've seen so far. Six couples can each have a proper king bedroom before the bunk room even comes into play. The game space and hot tub are exactly what I'd want after skiing, while ski storage keeps all the gear from taking over the house. I also like the golf-course setting because it hints at the other personality of this home. Once winter ends, you're not left with a ski house waiting for snow to return.

Keep in mind

The irony is that while the skiing is extraordinarily convenient, the entire Park City experience isn't outside the front door. For dining, shopping and evenings on Historic Main Street, I'd still want a car, shuttle or transit plan. So I'd think about the location in two parts: exceptional mountain access, more deliberate town access. That's a trade I'd happily make on a ski-focused trip.

Work Mode

There's plenty of room to find some separation, but I wouldn't choose this because of its office setup. I'd choose it because it makes a long ski stay remarkably easy.

The brag

I like when architecture understands its job. Here the modern mountain design supports the views, the group spaces and the relationship with the mountain rather than trying to become the attraction itself.

Six king bedrooms. As a tall guy traveling with other adults, I love that. Nobody has to volunteer for the little bed because they happened to arrive last.
Together we agree:
When skiing starts this close to the house, the logistics almost disappear. Over a month-long stay, that's a luxury we'd appreciate every single day.

Getting around

This is one of those unusual homes where I'd separate the answer to 'Do I need a car?' into two pieces. For skiing, no: the direct slopeside access to Park City Mountain is the star. For restaurants, groceries, shopping and evenings in Park City, a car or transportation plan is still useful. Canyons Village provides the closest resort dining and services, while Historic Main Street is the destination for Park City's deeper restaurant, bar, gallery and boutique scene. Summer changes the experience rather than diminishing it. The Canyons side of Park City has excellent hiking and mountain biking, the broader area has hundreds of miles of trails, and the golf-course setting adds another warm-weather reason to be here. This may be a phenomenal ski house, but I wouldn't think of it as winter-only.

This would be one of our stronger choices for a serious ski group. Direct mountain access and six king bedrooms solve two of the biggest pain points of traveling with a lot of adults, and that's a combination we'd have a hard time overlooking.
