What we love

This home is incredibly well cared for, and it shows in the way every room feels crisp, bright, and easy to settle into. The wraparound porch sets a welcoming tone, and the Dutch door adds a surprising amount of joy to the arrival experience, it’s one of those little details that sticks with you. Inside, the kitchen and living room open up to vineyard views that feel almost cinematic, filling the main living space with soft, natural light. The rec room is a standout: oversized, relaxed, and designed for real downtime, whether that means movie marathons, puzzles, or family game nights. Outside, the property unfolds into a series of beautifully executed zones — a pool and lawn on one side, and a sprawling outdoor kitchen, bocce court, demonstration vineyard, raised beds, and mature fig trees on the other. The attached guest suite, with its own private entrance, adds exceptional flexibility for visitors or longer stays.

Keep in Mind

While the home is undeniably beautiful, it leans toward a polished, neutral aesthetic that reads more like a high-end spec home than a space full of personal character. Everything is safe, refined, and intentionally understated. Guests who love quirky treasures or lots of personality may find it a little sterile. The upstairs bedrooms are comfortable but simple, each with a dormer window that makes them feel slightly darker than the rest of the house. One thing to note: the backyard is divided into two distinct areas. The pool sits on one side of the home, while the outdoor kitchen and bocce court are on the other. It’s not a major issue, but it does mean the cooking and lounging energy doesn’t blend as seamlessly if you’re someone who loves grilling while keeping an eye on swimmers.

The Brag

Joe B. lens:

What I loved most about this property is the way the outdoors truly shine. The vineyard views from the primary suite and main living areas are beautiful, but it’s the expansive outdoor kitchen, the bocce court, the raised gardens, and the fig trees that won me over. There’s something incredibly grounding about wandering a backyard that feels so connected to Napa Valley’s agricultural roots. Even though the décor inside felt a little safe to me, the land itself has a real sense of place, quiet, sun-drenched, and unmistakably Calistoga.

Joe R. lens:

For me, the appeal here is all about the ease and clarity of the space. I love a home that feels clean, polished, and uncomplicated, and this one gets that balance exactly right. Every room is functional, thoughtfully furnished, and comfortable without being fussy. The outdoor kitchen is one of the best I’ve seen in a home of this size, and the overall layout makes it incredibly easy to live in for an extended stay. The neutrality that Joe B. wrestles with is something I appreciate, it creates a calming, quiet backdrop that lets the property’s beauty stand out.

Together we agree:

This is a beautifully maintained estate with exceptional outdoor spaces and a wonderfully peaceful setting. Guests who appreciate clean design, vineyard views, and a polished Wine Country experience will be very happy here.

Getting Around

The location offers a great balance of privacy and convenience. You’re just a few minutes from downtown Calistoga, with easy access to dining, shopping, and tasting rooms, yet tucked far enough away to enjoy real quiet. With Solage, Four Seasons, and the upcoming Rosewood just down the road, you can slip into spa days, dinners out, or wine tasting without ever traveling far.
